The Greater St. Louis Regional Empowerment Zone facilitates opportunities for neighborhoods to become strong, individuals to become self-sufficient and secure, for jobs to be plentiful and accessible, for educational programs to impact the school-aged as well as the community at large and for community planning to be driven by collaboration. In St. Louis, we are currently concentrating community revitalization through technical assistance for housing rehab and development, as well as program support for access to technology, child care, recreation and youth leadership.
